MSI is a team of qualified and experienced marine professionals. Our surveyors hold diverse qualifications that complement the team including Naval Architects, Class One Chief Engineers, Masters, Engineers and Shipwrights.
For most liveaboard vessels we will allow a day and then a day for the reporting.
The price will include the travel, accommodation, survey and report and also the maintenance and update of the website. Cost per inspection: €4000
The Vessel name, Length, Location and a point of contact. Also if you can propose a date we will do our best to make a Surveyor available.

Yes, we will give you all the support that you need to get a good result. We have been transparent with the checklist and will also upload the standards on the MSI Website.
The report will be emailed to you within 2 days of the inspection and the results will be listed on the MSI website.
No, this is just one item in the checklist. While it is recommended that the vessel has 150 N ISO 2402-3:2020 Life Jackets, there is no mandatory obligation from the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety (EAMS) therefore, we will assess the condition of what is on board.
No. The audit intends to help operators improve and give their clients a clear choice of safe liveaboard vessels. Only vessels with a score of Satisfactory (3 stars) and Higher will be listed on the MSI Website. MSI Surveyor will provide you with assistance and advice to get the best possible outcome.
The vessel will only be listed on the MSI site if the result is satisfactory. The intention of the inspections are to improve safety and not to penalise operators for getting an inspection.
The recommendation is annual, however if you feel there has been significant changes to the vessel and operation then you may request an earlier inspection.
