Montelourido Fishing Vessel Construction - Responsible onsite for the construction of a 63.70 meter, 12 meter beam state-of-the-art freezer trawler for the Falkland island as per LR Class and MCA requirements.
Completed all factory testing on and offsite for all systems. Coordinate employers and subcontractors from steel and welding work, pre-commissioning, commissioning for vessels equipment and sea trials.
General overview of the project role:
Identified and engaged with key stakeholders, including the naval architects, designers, classification societies, suppliers, and the owner.
Worked with naval architects and designers to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, class and flag state.
Conducted a thorough risk assessment to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Contract development and sign on behalf of shipyard.
Coordinated with the procurement team to source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for the construction.
Facilitated a smooth handover of the fishing vessel, including training and familiarization with the vessel’s systems and operations.
