
Project Management
Planning: MSI to collaborate with the shipbuilder to create a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Coordination: Assist in coordination of various aspects of the project, including, design, procurement, construction, and testing, to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.

Budget Management: MSI will monitor project expenses closely, identifying any deviations from the budget and taking corrective action as needed to control costs.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to the project’s success and develop strategies to mitigate them, including contingency plans.

Quality Assurance
Compliance: MSI will ensure that the ship is constructed in compliance with all relevant regulations and the owner’s specifications.
Inspections: MSI in collaboration with the shipbuilder will establish Inspection Test Plans for the construction materials and process to ensure build quality. Arrange for regular inspections of the construction process, materials, and ships equipment to verify quality and adherence to standards.
Testing: They oversee a series of tests and trials, including structural integrity tests, equipment functionality tests, and sea trials, to ensure that the ship meets performance requirements.
Documentation: They maintain detailed records of all quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and certifications, to provide evidence of compliance.

Communication
Stakeholder Liaison: They serve as the main point of contact for communication between the shipbuilder, owner, classification societies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
Updates: They provide regular updates to the owner on the progress of the construction, highlighting key milestones, issues, and decisions that may impact the project.
Issue Resolution: They facilitate communication between parties to resolve any conflicts, disputes, or misunderstandings that may arise during the project.
Decision Making: They assist the owner in making informed decisions by providing relevant information, analysis, and recommendations.

Identification: They proactively identify potential problems or challenges that may arise during the construction process, based on experience and expertise.
Analysis: They analyze the root causes of issues and develop effective solutions in collaboration with the shipbuilder and other stakeholders.
Decision Making: They make timely decisions to address problems, balancing considerations such as cost, schedule, and quality to minimize impact on the project.
Implementation: They oversee the implementation of solutions, monitoring their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary to ensure resolution.
